    ls2 intake for an ls1?

    so i found this ls2 intake on ebay guy claims its a 90mm intake it has the cathedral style ports. will this work on my ls1? he says its a better upgrade than an ls6 intake is this so? could you help me out on this one? thanks...

    im pretty new to the ls engines but i think that the ls2 intakes have rectangle port!? BUT i could be wrong!!

    he's got pics of the intake, and they are cat. ports. and it takes a 4 bolt TB the Intake manifold PT# 12589181

    i posted a thread before with the same question..
    it is a 90mm but for what i was told the ls6 still flows better than the ls2 intake
    and i dont if its matter but the TB on ls2s are electronic..
    so finding a TB could be kida hard..idk thats just a guess

    next to come,4.10s,ls7 clutch, ms3 or 228r cam, ported 243s, ls6 intake, ls6 oil pump. ls2 timing chain, longtube headers no cats, with a tune..

    LS6 is better than LS2.....pretty much isnt the LS2 the same as the LS1 - EGR? Cant remember.....

    do you know what the ls6 mm is? and i found an adapter plate for an ls1 tb to an ls2 intake for $70 but im gonna go with the ls6 intake. if i could find one im my p.r.

    ls6 is ~75mm

    Stock the ls-6 flows better. There is a company however that ports them to outlfow the ls-6 and flows just under a fast 90mm. I don't know the company name though.

    According the the book I have called Dyno Proven LS1 performance. The LS2 only showed less than a 10hp gain at the crank. You are much better off getting an LS6, BBK, or FAST.
