LS1 stock heads... what #s can they run?
im looking into getting a LS1 car and if i do my plan is to do every bolt on plus a 200 shot of nitrous and leave it stock bottom end stock heads.
i want to build a budget car to show everyone what putting bolt ons and leaving the main engine parts stock can do.
ive alreeady researched it and for the most part know exactly what i want, just havent figured out the actual numbers for the cam and stall and all that shit yet, i figure i can wait till i actually buy an ls1 first
cam, fast intake, 90mm throttle body, air lid, pace setters, 200 shot N2O, stall, shift kit, 3.73s, 15" welds with good tires and skinneys in front, v6 springs in rear, control arms, sub frames, roll bar.
im gonna try to get away with leaving the trans and rear end stock for as long as i can.
so does anyone have this set up? what kinda #s u think this shit will run?
im bored so i figured id stimulate some conversation

here you go. completely stock motor from TB to exhaust manifolds and 250 rwhp of nitrous. had to cut the run short due to fuel pressure dropping. on a straight 200 rwhp shot, i went 11.262 @ 122.78
Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

At the moment, my 98 is stock bottom & the stock heads are ported to the max, with a 150 dry shot, I average 10.90's... Best run on good air 10.73 @ 126mph. Car still weighs in at 3640 lbs empty. Not bad for stock with bolt ons !!!
As far as the rear, you will need to upgrade !
