    99 Camaro SS

    LS1 oil pan swap

    I have a 99 SS CAMARO and looking to put the Canton aluminum oil pan on . If anyone has any info or has done this before please let me know any info will be a help .

    You will need some kind of engine support fixture to hold the engine in the car, and then you will have to drop the k-member. Why do you need this oil pan? Kind of a waste of money in my opinion. just my .02.

    I wouldnt waste my time messing with the oil pan. Gm designed the oil pan thats on the motor as a added structural part.
    Spend the cash and time somewhere else that will provide throttle differences lol.
