ls1 and ls6 intake differences
I read that most 2001 and all 2002 f bodies came with the ls6 intake, is this true and how do i know the difference??

Yepp like said above, Gm started putting the ls6 intake on our cars in 2001.
Some ways to tell are, they elimintated the Egr system.
Another way to tell with the intake on the car is The ls1 intake has a "wing shapped Floor". The ls6 has a Flat bottom or floor, You can look between the valley plate and the intake floor to deterine.
With the intake off of the car The ls1 Has X's between the intake ports on the bottom of the intake and the ls6 has Square ribbing between the ports.
