    ls1 full exhaust comments

So I have been going to the local car shows recently and a hand full of people have told me my car sounds like a ferrari when its reved up. I laughed and took it as a compliment. Car has pacesetter long tubes, 3" texas speed catted y pipe, and hooker catback. Now I have never heard a ferrari in person i dont think but has anyone else had a similiar experience?

Had someone tell me my car sounded like a Ford GT.
    I laughed as well.

I have never had anyone comment on my exhaust sounding like an exotic car either.

I have heard many comments about LTs+ORY+LM1 sounding like a dumptruck, farmtruck, or something similar.

Stupidest one I've ever had was "You know your car sounds like nails across a chalkboard when you floor it right?"

I really didn't know how to respond to that lol

Lots of smiles, thumbs up and such in response to our cutout. So far, no strange comparisons.

I didnt care for the hooker cb too much until I added long tubes. It got really loud.

The Ferrari's I've heard revving, tend to rev very quickly and have a higher pitch. Most LSx's have a more traditional deep, throaty, roar that builds slower.

    Both sound great though.

I think motorcycles (sportbikes) sound like Ferarri's or exotics. Our cars have a deeper, powerful tone. Exotics are more higher pitched.

magnaflow is okay, its just that its too quiet for me. plus, i like how hooker has a more muscular sound to it than magnaflow.

The only ones I really dont like are the loudmouths and flowmasters. Everything else is pretty close in sound. However I have noticed that Magnaflow and slp dual/dual seem to be pretty quiet even when you add long tubes but everything else gets pretty loud. Well thats how it sounds TO ME anyway.

Must be a good sounding dump truck because I get so many good compliments on my car. I love the way it sounds! Never had a bad one yet and it's fun scaring people! It's pretty high pitched compared to friends with magnaflow and headers (at WOT). At idle its a nasty chop and around town no rasp (good merge).

I actually run the newer slp power foo setup and love the way the lm2 and the dual powerflo setup sounds deep at idle not too loud cruising but gets loud at WOT with my lt's and ory. The flowmaster I had was great till the cats came off. The normal Slp setup was a little loud for hwy driving the my A4 and 3.73's. I did toss the tips for cords clones from afterthoughts auto. Too many Magnaflow's around I wanted something no one had and the clambered exhaust is awesome but was too pricey for me.
