I'll third the LS6. A ported FAST 92 will probably give 15-20 more rwhp on a serious H/C set-up, but will cost another $1500.

Yeah, but for most people saving $1200 for a sacrifice of 20hp is acceptable.

With the deals going around now on used FAST 90/92's, they can be had for way less then 1200/1500. To my understanding, porting is nothing more then a good gasket match. There are "wear" lines on the inside of each runner telling you how much you can port. Personally, I will not pay Mamo 400-500 dollars to port my FAST intake, thats just crazy.

The BBK intake is about the same price as a LS6 manifold. Are they about the same performance level?

yeah i got my 92/92 for 850 with the tb, that was a hell of a deal. they can be had for cheap if you find someone out there....but porting is another story for the price of Mamo's port job you can almost double the gains. some may say that too is money well spent for the HP

Yeah I was wondering if anyone had used the aluminum manifolds as well. Professional products makes one too. They are fairly cheap and claim better power than ls1/ls6
