Smile Low dollar single in/out catback info/vids

Got tired of being teased about running my stock catback, and probably choking off some horsepower, so I finally swapped it out. Keep in mind I already had a Borla adjustable and a Magnaflow...didn't like the sound of either, so stuck with the stocker for most of the Summer. Ironically, the new setup sounds damn near identical to the Magnaflow, lol...Maybe the new setup will free up a tenth or so. Car went 11.67@115 with stock catback FWIW.

I pieced it together for about 175 bucks total and the car actually "feels" better at most any rpm when driving.

    Parts used:
    $54.39 Dynomax #54064 I pipe
$66.39 Dynomax #53061 over axle pipe
$25.00 Force Pro-Series 3" chambered muffler (new, but secondhand)
    $21.98 Riker 3" 90* elbow
    $18.98 Riker 3" turndown spout
Five 3" Stainless steel band clamps (already had)

I did have to make/weld a hanger onto "tailpipe", but was able to use stock rubber hanger. I need to figure out how to keep exhaust from "moving"...It sort of moved around with stock catback as well. It doesn't hit anything, but in last video, you'll see what I mean by "move", lol.

    Here's a couple quick videos...
One of car idling and revved, a couple others taken in-car, and another quick warm idle vid...

    Very Nice and sounds great.
Flowmaster sells a kit that is very similar (part# 17134) except it doesn't have a turndown, the tailpipe comes straight out and is slash cut. It uses a 2 chamber 40 series muffler. I've had it on my car for 8 yrs.

Wow, didn't know that. Any vids of yours?
Or does it pretty much sound the same as mine?

Sorry no vids but it does sound similar to yours.
The Kit is listed for `95-97 Dual cat LT1 cars but it will fit LS1's cause the Ypipes exit in the same location. the only addition i did to mine was I added a 18" long 3.5" slash cut Stainless tip.
This is the only pic that I have and there isn't much to see
