    Loud Mouth Exhaust System

I want to install a loudmouth system on my 98 WS6. Where can I get it?

Do any of you have it?

Do you think installation would difficult considering my hooker headers and off-road Y-Pipes?

    Thanks

SLP sells it, KYSPEED sells it, along with many other car vendors.

    PM markls1ta (Mark at KYSPEED).

    I have the LM2 mounted to a Kook's 3" ORY. No issues.

LM1 with LT and ORY is beyond loud and has an annoying rasp at certain RPM's... other than that it sounds great...

    Rasp/drone is at 2200-2600RPM.

Loudness really doesn't start until 2500RPM+. That is with a LM2 at least.

I can easily have a conversation in my car while cruising around.

I'm afraid that is a mite too quite for my tastes.
I was researching the loudmouth system today and the only difference I could discern between the LM1 and the LM2 was one has a single exhaust tip and one has a double-pipe tip.

Can you tell me about the LT and the ORY? Where can I get it? And have yu heard them?

I've run with hooker headers and open cutout. It's loud enough for my tastes but doesn't have the quality of sound I'd prefer.

several years ago there was an exhaust sys called loudmouth that consisted with straight pipe from cat to bumber. It reportedly had no mufflers, only corregation in the length of the pipe. I never had opportunity to hear it, but I liked the description of its high-db sound.

If it is about the sound only ... Try searching GMMG exhaust & the Corsa exhaust ... SLP is way cheaper thou with LM1/2 ... Corsa is just a machine gun exhaust !!
but GMMG roars way nicer ... LM1/2 is just noize that can be achieved with a cutout.
Kooks full exhaust is a diffrent story though $$$$$

I've heard a LM with LT's with no cats, and it was stupid-loud. I couldn't imagine driving a car liek that, I think I'd go deaf.

You can get different tips with both systems, the difference is that the LM1 comes with a "muffler" that is basically a piece of straight pipe, while the LM2 has a slightly quieter "muffler", for a quieter tone.

    I had a loudmouth catback.
Ended up hacking it off it sounded so bad with longtube headers and a cam.

the headers i got from e-bay for $225.00 shipped to my door... the Y i got from yearone back when they were a sponsor... i got the slp y and it sucks due to the bad bend angle...

loud mouth always had a small resonator... when i first joined this board the big thing was getting loudmouth and going to pep boys to get some resonator and replacing the one that came with LM1... they called it dyno mouth or something...

several yrs ago, stopped beside a camaro at the light. Camaro had the perfect sound. It was deep deep low and rumbling. My sys was higher pitched and tinny sounding.

From that moment on I knew I had installed the wrong exaust. Been living with it ever since.

i have a full Loud mouth exhaust system. It's 3'' pipe, true duals from the headers/manifolds back, and dumping via turn own just before the rear axel. This system just came off my 98' ta and sounds awesome! (the pips run back to just behind the trans and then touch each other,(flow together into one another) i forgot what they call this, none the less this is a B.A. exhaust and its for sale... let me know...
