    Aren't they related to the emissions system?And when we replace the stock lid with an aftermarket lid the smog provision for one of those smog hoses that goes to the stock lid is eliminated in such a way that it is modified by putting on a filter.So it is no longer operational.

    SLP sells one with the hole in the side of the lid, grommet and hose for the A.I.R. pump hose.

    Just puy a small air filter in the hose almost looks stock. thats what i did. passed emissions last week with lid and bassani catback

    They are 100% legal - basically as long as you don't hinder emmissions or violate noise restriction epuipment, any mod is "legal".

    However, being that Cali is super gay, if they pull you over and you don't have a "CARB Approved" sticker for your lid/intake, they can write you a ticket, fine you, or tow your vehicle

    I'm in Louisiana drove for three years with no cats before I got my new exhaust, oh but that's off-road as well so who cares!!!!!!!!!!!!!
