lid tight againt LWR air box. Normal?

just got a mti clear lid and barly fits but got it to work. is the back/bottom lid sopposed to be extreamly tight against the bottom of black lower lid housing? and does anybody recomend using the metel straps from OEM box?

but have to say i can tell the difference big time, MORE POWER, better TB responce, but just a lil mest up fitment

Thats the way they are. Mine is the same. Pretty crappily made for the money IMO but from what I hear no worse than any other lid. They do look cool though.

how good of a fit is it? is the bottom like mine. yea i heard that expiacilayy thses clear lexan lids are all different bc when the mold dries up or the post production when being made.

what happened is the part shrink rank wasn't done. the plastic after its molded will shrink a little. if the mold isn't the right size or the molding process doesn't allow for shrinkage the part will be smaller. or some times bigger.
but i'll check mine too. i have the same lid but my mechanic installed it form me.

I have the clear MTI lid. Same issues! It don't bother me though, it looks awesome.
