leaking coolant
ok so a few weeks ago i parked my car on friday, didnt drive till monday, when i came out, i had a huge puddle of coolant under my car, im thinking, fuck!. i look underneath the hood, everything looks good, get underneath, and its dripping off the k-member, i crank it up, and its got a good drip going. Im think weep hole on the water pump
so i take it to my mechanic, the pressure test the system, no problems, they say to keep an eye on it, so i go all week, no problems, but its also raining on and off so its hard to tell. same situation this last weekend, and also had a big puddle underneath on monday. but ive been too busy this week to take it by.
i check underneath everytime i get in or out, and so far nothing, but if im sitting at a redlight sometimes i can smell the coolant, like its steaming from somewhere, but no visible drops. cars also not getting hot, what do yall think?

thats what im thinking, but its weird how it only leaks when its been sitting for 48ish hours or more, and i mean leaks good, this last time the puddle was coming out from under my car, and it passes the pressure test

And I take it you have to add coolant whenever this happens?

i have a feeling its a hose leaking, where it leaves the block down low? i dunno havent really gotten to look underneath, i can def tell though that its leaking down low, and its on the block, def no the radiator side. I wont be suprised though if its the pump, i kinda hope its the pump, lol

my other thought is that it could be my heater core. i ran my heater this morning to school, then the weather got nice and i left with A/C off and windows down and i could smell it

my buddy has an lt-1 so I don't know the differences, but his hose was toward the top just blew on the bottom side where he couldn't see it.
