    I think the only way to do it is with a volant set up. I've heard they don't flow alot of cool air tho....

    You need to investigate the 'Cold Air Intake' systems that different businesses have up for sale.
    For instance;

    When you say "the little slot" do you mean in the front of the airbox or the bottom after a ram air or free air mod?

    From the factory the airbox pulls from a little slot in the front of the airbox. Drawing air from under the hood.

    The free air mod involves removing the bottom of the airbox. This draws air from infront of the radiator.

    The various ram air kits draw air through the bottom of the air box in the same manner as the free air mod with the added benefit of a plastic or metal ducting to help direct the airflow.

    Why wouldnt the volant flow alot of cool air, I mean it has been proven on dyno's that it has a 12 horsepower gain over the 6 to 7 gain on the lid!!!
