Just got my TSP True Duals on
And i thought they would of tucked up better, but seeing them I guess they couldnt. The driver side is touching frame rails in two spots, passenger side is good. the driver side muffler needed to have the corner BFH to clear fuel/brake lines. All in all, got it in, and have 1 7/8" clearance at the mufflers.
What kind of clearance do you all have???

I have 3-4" clearance with mine. Initial install I had the x on incorrectly which gave me about 1" after looking at it I swapped it around and was much happier with 3-4". What brand Headers do you have, that may play a role in your clearance too, as some headers have clearance issues themselves.

I have the Jet Hots, but they are touching the floorpan up to the X pipe, no clearance issues except for the actual mufflers which are touching the tranny tunnel as well. My car is lowered with the prokit springs as well. I dont see how you have 4" of clearance at the mufflers unless you have different muffs then i do, cause mine are tounching the floorpan and you cant go any higher then that

I have sweet thunders, i bet you have the dynomax bullets. My muffler is 3" diamater as the dynomax is like 3.5" The ones in Fabrizi's pix I believe are the dynomax.....see how the muffler is a little bit larger in diameter compared to the rest of the piping?

If you have less than 4 inches of clearance, you did something wrong. Unbolt everything and try it again. *edit* Nevermind, you being lowered may have something to do with your clearance. The prokit probably dropped you nearly 2 inches, so you may not get any better than you are.
Here's mine:
Fabrizi, you've got to be able to get better clearance than that! I wouldn't even drive that car with that set up.Last edited by Kamauxx; 01-13-2008 at 09:11 AM.

I had clearance issues trying to keep the drivers side away from the fuel lines but I only have problems if I have 2 people in the back. So I just dont have any passengers unless I absolutly have to. Mine is the one on the right.

You can move the fuel lines up to one of the higher holes in the plastic bracket. Tha'll keep em a good .5-1" away from the exhaust.
