I got a lid first with a K&N then a Magnaflow catback, Flowmaster is one of the worst flowing catbacks.

the best thing for your car is to have something custom built for it, and it can be true duals then if thats what you want, but be prepaired to pay for it.

I just did the FRA mod, never bothered to get an intake. Borla and Corsa are good exhausts, but they are very pricey..for that kinda cash I would have gotten GMMG. Magnaflow is one of the best flowing catbacks and is stainless, thats why I bought it. I had the Loudmouth on my 94 LT1 TA and I loved it, but then after two years it was annoying for highway drives because of the drone and it was really raspy, but it does flow really good.

congrats on the new car! Your first mod should be sub frame conectors. with just stock power your car will start to twist.

Go with a lid, too. The stock unit has baffles out its @$$, so it don't flow so well.

Later, swap the intake out for an LS6 unit, delete your EGR, add an underdrive crank pulley and long-tube headers(or LTs as they're known here) into a catted Y-pipe(or X-pipe if you go duals... I would), have it tuned, then put in a set of 3.73s or 4.10s(only if you have a 6-spd), and you'll have a quite respectable and reliable car.

Congrats, man. Ours is a '00 model, too.

Congrats on your new vehicle Wolf. Nothing is better than having some American Muscle under the hood. I'd suggest just figure out what you plan on doing with the vehicle. i.e. if you drag race- get bolt on engine mods, auto x or road racing- suspension, daily driver- ???? Modding a car is just like shaving... once you start you can't stop.
