Jet Hot Removable Catalytic Converter Y-Pipe?

I plan on installing LTs and an ORY. The only problem is that in NC the inspectors look for cats. I know I can pass OBD with a tune, but this is another option, good idea or not?

If it's the same JetHot Y pipe I have, when converters are installed, they are actually inside of the pipe...I doubt that'd pass any visual test.
