It would be interesting since you have a different looking manifold. A little more on the top end doesn't show any gains below 3500rpm compared to the ls1 manifold-then again different manifold. What size is your throttle body, and does it have 3 or 4 bolt holes? The ls-6 has 3

    Well, it's a GenIII motor, but it is a LM7 (5.3L)

sorry but it's alot of work ls intake's won't clear truck accesory's that's why T/B is angled up have to try and switch to vette or f-body accesory's. i have heard of some company's makeing custom mounts for truck stuff

i would recommend starting with the basics good cold air intake (airraid aem k'n) free flowing muffler (cheapest way to start is just cuting out the stock muffler and adding high flow one instead ) or cat back system programmer any of the big brands or custom then header's (long tube make better power but shorties are easy to install ) Comp makes cam's just for the truck motors the your budget is the limiting factor lots of superchargers available (magnuson, vortec ,procharger ) search on hear or gm-trucks .com
    good luck

ps (with more power don't forget about upgrading the brakes ebc's are good)
