    Intake manifolds?

Looking to relpace my stock intake manifold on my 2002 trans am WS6 are there any stand out brands also what would be the ideal size throttle body to upgrade to for increased street use horse power 80 or 85 MM. Thanks for the help all.

Plans for the future? You already have a ls6 intake. The step up from where your at would be the FAST intake. If your not planning on a aftermarket cam and/or heads, the money could be spend elsewhere more wisely then on the FAST intake. A used 92mm FAST intake and TB would work good depending on the plans. I run a PTM 92mm TB with zero complaints.

The plans for the future are to do bolt on's only i really want to keep the car a mostly street car. So headers, y/x pipes exaust, Slp lid, under drive pully, retune computer, and I was gonna do a throttlebody and intake manifold.

You would see more gains out of headers and or a cam then a new intake manifold at this point.

+1 there would really be no gain with a FAST at this point. Personally I would stick with the already good LS6 intake you have and spend the $1,300 bucks elswhere.

What Hi-Po said above would be your best advice. Spend the money on headers instead of upgrading the intake.

It should be pretty clear to you now. Keep your intake. The ls6 is second best to only the fast and you wont see big gains out of that unless you put a cam in it

I have a Mamo ported FAST90/90 combo I could sell.
    Loved it.

Although as mentioned, probably overkill for you.

I would just keep the LS6 with a ported tb it flows more than enough for a bolt on setup. I have a MS3 cam and plan on keeping my intake till I get heads then plan on a intake. The ls6 is a great intake.

I know this probably a crazy question but has anyone ever ported a TB on a LS1 intake?

How do you port the tb in the first place? Or where do I bring it to get it ported? Or should I just buy a new one?

minimal gains vs ported and polish stock TB. I would only upgrade TB if I was going to FI or Fast 120 Intake
