Installed Volant, now get MAF code!

I have a stock 2002 ram air TA. Had a machanic friend of mine install a volant CAI. Shortly thereafter, check engine light came on. Checked codes, and it was a MAF code. Has anyone else experienced this? Any recommendations?

Is everything on tight and snug. If you have a leak after your MAF it will cause that meaning you have un metered air and youll most likely run lean. Also check and clean your MAF.

we need to know the code ..more then likely he damaged the maf when installing ..or the connector isn't seated correctly..or make sure the maf is on the right way!...they have on the side a sticker that shows the proper flow direction

Like Shady, said and I've done it when in a hurry, make sure the arrow is pointed into the engine!

Like stated earlier post the code, could be unmetered air/car was started with it unplugged/ENG SEN fuse blown/etc.

more than likely its just one of those things thats easily overlooked. and if you can overlook it once there is no reason why you wouldnt be able to overlook it twice. check, check, and check again. it cant hurt
