Install shop or DIY header install?

Just got my kooks long tubes with off road mids in the mail. There really aren't any good shops in Killeen where I live, so I'm leaning more towards the DIY. Is this something me and another person could knock out In a few hours? Or should I not mess with it if I haven't done it before?

IMO, If your good with a wrench, have plenty of tools, and have some tall jack stands, and a free day, it shouldn't be a problem!

Really not too bad as long as you are patient.
Will be putting the Kooks on my TBSS myself here soon.

Headers really aren't that bad to put on a 4th gen. Ranks up there as one of the easier cars I've done actually.

If you have access to the base use the auto shop. You'll be done in a couple of hrs with a lift. I did mine in my garage. Not that hard.

I installed my SLP Lt's on my 98 formula by myself. Took me a few hourse on Saturday then finished up the following Sunday.

For the most part there is not much two people can do at once so a friend just adds conversation

Getting the car high enough is the hard part. The car has to ATLEAST be 2ft off the ground and thats hard to do via jack stands. I ended up stacking my jack on some boards to get the car the final inches I needed to get them up under the car.

Personally I'd recommend having someone else do it if money is not a problem. I have no idea what a shop would charge but I cannot imagine it being too much in the scheme of things.

I did do it myself though and agree with everyone above that it is possible and not that big of a pain but if I did have it to do again I'd just pay my mechanic.
