install 2004 z06 heads on a 98 ls1
I have found a great set of Z06 Heads with 5k miles on them, and at a killer price. I have a 98 Z28, will the new Z06 heads that are the LS6 Heads that help produce 405 HP work on my LS1 Block? I was also wanting to add a 02 or better ls6 intake.
Any suggestions.

What about the heads, will I run into any problems installing them into a stock 98 LS1? I think I need new valve covers, and maybe new ignition coils. What else will I need, and what is involved on the switch for the coils? Will I need to upgrade to a zo6 Cam, or will the 98 cam I have be ok for now since it is bigger than 99-01.
Thnx for all, and by the way, the heads are freshly cleaned, and fully checked for leaks, and put back together ready to bolt on, all for 480.00 shipped.
remeber they have only 5000 miles, thats barely broke in.
Is that a good deal?

Yes they will bolt up and yes you will need center bolt calve covers w/coil brackets.
I would also do a Cam Swap at the same time though.Craig
