    IAT Modification question ?

    I installed the Intake Air Temperature( IAT) modification which is supposed to add some horsepower a couple years ago and noticed immediate difference in responsiveness of my 2002 WS6. Its an easy mod where you just install this small IAT plastic piece into the side of the air box. I removed it awhile ago when I got a new TA and just forgot to reinstall. Is this modification safe? Cant seem to find anyone who has done it lately but I remember there were a lot of posts about it 5 years ago. Just cant find them on this site anymore?
