Any kind of bullet/resonator as long as you don't get nailed by the sound police

LMI will sound good with stock manifolds and cats. With LTs it doesn't sound so good. With LTs and no cats it's just obnoxious loud.

If you plan on LTs ever, I'd go with a different set-up other than LMI.

I'm not sure if I wanna go with LT's because it's a hassle to pass smog =/

Yeah I know. Cali is strict in that regard.

For your mods all catback exhausts are going to net gain you the same HP about. The only thing I've ever heard about flow not being so good was with "flowmaster"...as ironic is that is. I can't validate that though, as it was just what another member stated.

So basically longtubes are really the only way to gain the most power out of an exhaust system?

If you are expecting to "feel" more power with just exhaust...I'd say you aren't going to.

I am guessing 10-15rwhp with exhaust. 25-30rwhp with LT's. Just a guess. I Dyno'd 330/342 on a Mustang Dyno with a lid and full exhaust (ORY + LTs). That was through a Moser 9", which eats up about 15rwhp.

Most performance muffler will flow 3-5hp of each other. I think you need to focus on what brand you like more on what's going to sneeze out another 2hp. Like I said straight through is obviously going to be the least restrictive.
