    HP increase with Pacesetters?

    Heya folks-

What kind of power increases can I expect with Pacesetter's headers and y-pipe? I'm currently running STOCK exhaust other than a Flowmaster muffler.

Also, I'm curious about swapping out the MAF & TB on my '02 WS6 for 85mm SLP models. All of the intake side is stock WS6 parts.

I'm considering all of this in prep for a HSW 150 kit.

huh? the increase with the headers is 20-25hp roughly...your going to be bottled up by the stock piping in the exhaust..plus the flowmaster isn't the highest flowing muff around but it will do. so with new piping..like the lm's pipes ...i cant remember the diameter..isnt stock 2.25 or 2.5 and lm's is 2.75 or 3 i cant remember but yea there ya go.

Alright, so I'll have to work on the rest of the exhaust to really benefit, that makes sense. Thx for the 411.

any time..also what are your plans for the car in the future? becuase a nice cam will really open everything up ..since you already got a ls6 manifold..but even without it..the bigger exhuast system with your ls6 manifold will really liven up the car..you'll see.

Yeah, but if I cam it I gotta get into a tune too. I'm currently looking at a HarrisSpeedWorks 150 wet kit.

In the neighborhood of cams tho, whats the "best" (aka: what do most folks buy) cam for the LS6 intake?

not for the intake..but i know very little about cams..go to internal engine section and search for cams...there are 10000000 threads about it be careful about the wet kit..if your going to do that then you will need to beef up your bottom end.

If you're going with juice, I suggest looking into nitrous cams. They're a little different than N/A cams.

Nah, I'm either going to juice it or go NA all the way.

couple popular N/A daily driver cams are the TR224 (thunder racing 224/224 .563/.563 112 or 114LSA) and TSP 228R (228/228 .588/.588 112or114LSA) really anything around 230 duration and under is a little more tame and not so rough so you can still stand to drive it daily. with tr224 I would expect around 380rwhp and tsp228R i would expect around 400rwhp.....now that is assuming you get a good tune and have all the supporting mods.
