I'd say the lid will give you about 6 hp, and the cutout will give u about 8 or so over the stock muffler.. so to be safe, id say roughly around 15.. i was in this dilemma once, but i ended up getting headers with the cutout... i saved money since i knew i was going to get the headers anyway.. thats what id suggest

its about 345 flywheel stock for an '01 so i would say 360 flywheel hp after lid/cutout.

Dyno #s equate to bragging rights, they don't equate to how fast a car really is.

Track times equate to how fast a car really is.

You can have 500 HP at the motor and still run 13s.

I would say it would add 20 HP at the motor, but thats just a guess. I would tell people 350 HP from the motor and leave it at that. Might be more, might be less, but thats a safe round # to use and should be in the ballpark.

i was just telling him to dyno it because he was wondering about HP numbers....ur 100% right though hp means shit at the track....but if he wants to get the most accurate way to get his hp he has to dyno it....we can guess all we want....not everything equates to wut it says it will
