How Much to Weld the Exhaust?

My car's exhaust is loose. The sound is annoying. I'm tired of spending money on the car and want to get a good deal. What should it cost for a shop to weld the exhaust, or at least how much labor is involved?

For someone who knows what there are doing the labor would be minimal. Also depends on appearance, if it's someplace that no one is going to see, they can be more general and cake it on there. If its near the tips and looks matter, could run you a few more bucks.

Order some 3" band clamps, i think there 9 bucks each clamp and that should take care of it. Or just call around to local shops and see what they would charge ya to weld a few spots. Where is it loose at?

I ask cause my exhaust rattled against the frame at idle right up where it goes over the axle. I wedged a piece of rubber hose up there, running a screw clamp thru the piece of hose and around the pipe. This way it won't come loose and fall out. Not always needing welding.

Thanks for the help. I'm not sure where it's loose, but it's not dragging on the ground, lol, or about to fall off, so I was told. It's banging against something, but not for long. It's just a little labor; I'm getting it taken care of.
