How do I gut my cats out ?
Whats the best way to do this ? Is there any hp gain from just doing this ? Would I be better off taking it to a shop and having it done ?

No shop should do this for you since it is illegal. You have to stick something (steel pipe) in them and break everything out. I'm sure you will gain some power.
