Here is why everybody should look @ their radiator
When I was taking off my air lid assembly to paint it, look at the junk that was in my radiator. How a plastic bag got in there I will never know. My car has 80k on it.

Yeah, when I took mine apart to install a FTRA, I found alot of junk in there. No plastic bags though.
I got all the big stuff by hand, then used an old toothbrush to clean out between the fins as best I could.

Best way would be to remove all you can by hand, then flush the hose over it being careful of the fins.

I pulled out news paper and candy wrappers from mine. It flows a lot better now

I had to do that when my 97Z would overheat no matter what you were doing. Once I did that it never overheated again.
