headers & plug wires

following up on my intake question, due to clearance issues with the steering linkage on my custom truck, I need to use block hugger headers .. I see there are two types..

1. the outer tubes are nearer the head
2. the inner tubes are nearer the head

I bought a set of type 1. so, how would you EVER get plug wires on the front and back plugs (1 & 7)? there is a little over a 1/4 in clearance from the tip of the stock plug to the header tube.. I see the same problem on the passenger side.. (this engine is a takeout from a 2001 tahoe, LM7 setup)

how could these EVER work, for ANYONE?

third, like the first, but is a Hooker 2313HKR, so name brand with the same shape as what I picked up.
