Headers/exhaust
I have no names or anything on my headers or exhaust. Sticker on the door has allthe SLP stuff but does all SS have that? Is it possible that it wqs all done there and they just dont mark it? Is there any other place I can look to maybe find out exactly what I have?
Thanks in advance for the help!Suspension: Lower control arms (Spohn), Drive shaft safety loop, Torque arm (Edlebrock), Strut tower brace, Panhard Bar (BMR)
Under the Hood: Smooth bellows, Lid, Catch can, LT Headers, ORY, AIR/EGR delete, Poly engine/transmission mounts,
Exterior: Painted brake calipers (Red), Halo “Spyder” Headlights w/matching parking/turn signals (Black)

They do install headers at the SLP shop, but they never installed them on a new vehicle that still had to be shipped to the dealer.
Emmissions laws and changing the position of the cats prevented that.
The early SLP LT headers hung lower than everyone elses and were prone to scraping,do your collectors scrape?
Its very hard to tell the make of headers once they are installed, check with the previous owner if its possible.

They did scrape at first but got more tension out on the brackets. Hasnt scraped since. No clue about the previous owner. Saw a guy at a show once and he said it was his. Said he put a police interceptor package on it. No clue though. Also he asked if my mom was with me when i bought it. Def. Didjt happen that way. I got it from a dealer and car fax showed one previous owner. Maybe a mix up.

SLP's shitty headers will scrape no matter what you do.
If I recall, they have a small badge on them as well....says SLP.
As for SLP....run away very fast from them.2008 Trailblazer SS
