Headers?

What is yalls opinion on getting headers for my V6 Firebird? Is it worth it? How much horsepower will it add if any? And will it sound any more aggressive?

Longtubes will definately add power, I dont know if a v6 can sound aggressive but it will make it more agressive that what is already is.

Eh, I mean as far as it being worth it? How far do you plan on going with the V6?

I dont know if there are even a company that makes LTs for the V6. Guess you gotta do some research. It will make a bit of a difference and make your bird sound more aggressive and louder. Do you plan on keeping cats on the car?

No, even if I don't get the headers I want to take the catalytic converters off so I get better airflow. Maybe I should just save up for a V8 swap... yeah right, I don't have that kind of money

You cant beat a good ol V8 although iv seen 3.8's put through there paces. I would go for the Lt's and Ory and get a good flowing muffler and you would be amazed on the sound..
