headers
I am thinking of installing headers for my car what i would like to know is what headers would fit .I have as of right now stock factory headers and a bassani 3 inch y pipe with high flow cats and slp exhaust after the y pipe. I would like to get headers that would fit with the bassani y pipe and cats but dont know which i should get.I would really appreciate any suggestions since you guys and gals are so great at helping with a novice as myself. Thanks in advance.

Shorty's flow about the same as stock manifolds, but they look better. Not worth the time or money as said above. Longtubes or spend you $$ on other mod's.

I hear this a lot, though i've never tampered with shorty headers before. Funny thing is I was glancing at an episode of HPTV when they were installing Edelbrock TES shorties on their LS1 Camaro SS. On a back to back dyno run the headers & y-pipe showed a gain of 13rwhp, which doesn't seem to shabby for shorties.

Ditch the Bassani y, lesson learned. Get some long tubes and an ORY. Shorties are lame.

+1 people always end up getting LT's sooner or later so save yourself the time and money. However, I place Pacesetter in higher regards then Hooker... however, if money were no object I would probably get some Kooks... but Pacesetters will be just fine...
