    Header selection

I am going to purchase long tube headers for my car and I found a set of black off road pacesetters for about 300.00 new. I was wondering on the quality because other headers I've looked at are around 800.00 and up. Anyone know about the pacesetter brand?

There are a lot of guys running Pacesetters on here. As far as I can remember, no complaints have been posted up. You may want to consider upgrading to a ceramic coating though if looks are important. The electrostatic coated steel headers will eventually rust. The more expensive headers, ie. Kooks, American Racing, etc... are stainless steel.

I have pacesetters and they are nice but even the coated ones rust. For the work it takes, I would get kooks if I had to do it again.

Pacesetters are good quality. First rule of thumb when buying headers is to always avoid SLPs. As long as you do that, you made it to first base safely.
