    header provisions

    just bought a set of pacesetter l/t that dont have the egr provisions on either side.what do i need to do for the driver side tube that goes into the header,and also they only have two bung holes for the o2s not four?any help or advice would help.

    1. Block off the EGR ("Free Mod")

    2. Remove the Air Pump (don't forget to delete it from the computer so it doesn't throw a code)

    The second set of bungs are supposed to be 'after' the cats.
    Search LS1Tech for a AIR/EGR removal thread. There was a really nice detailed explanation on it a few months ago.

    The EGR is the front passenger side only. The AIR is the one found on both sides on the top of the exhuast manifolds.

    there is only the upper bungs for the o2s it doent have the lowers i was thinking of drilling a hole and weld a bung to put in the other two.

    Or go to a Dyno shop & have the codes tuned out.
