    header install question about tools

Hey people, whats up? I'll be installing LTs on my car pretty soon and I was just wondering if there was any tool that was a neccessity to have. I have a lot of damn tools and I'm going to try to talk my boss into letting me use the shop where i work with a lift. (I work at a dealership) so hopefully I wont be laying on my back. But like i said, is there any special tool out there that will be needed? thanks for ya'lls help

I used a cherry picker to lift the motor on the passenger side so the header would fit. But nope, no special tools, just hand tools.

Regular hand tools, possibly an impact.

I wouldn't use air tool on the header bolts though. Don't want to torque 'em too tight or break one off in the head. Then it becomes a very expensive project. But a good reason to get those heads ported.

A Ten milimeter rachet wrench will become your best friend. lol too remove the old bolts. A universal would make it easier also but not needed. just simple hand tools.
If you cant use a lift make sure you have a way of gettin your car a few feet off the ground.

Agreed, getting the car high enough safely can be more of a problem than it sounds.
