Header gaskets
just got my pacesetters the other day and I noticed the gaskets seemed a bit on the crap side. anybody know of a good gasket set I can get for what $$? also would it be worth the 40 bucks for locking header bolts? anyone have them? Do they work?

Don't use those gaskets. Get some OEM metal gaskets.

Black LT1 is correct, the OEM gaskets are very good, they run around $30 new from GMdirect I believe. You are also correct about the Pacesetter gaskets being on the crap side. I have the Stage 8 locking header bolts and have been really pleased with them. Well worth the money IMO.

Most people I know just reused the stock ones.. as long as they arent all bent up.. work just fine.

i used felpro gaskets and they are actually pretty good i think. no leaks
