    has anyone tried this to get duals out the back...

    ok, the most expensive part about true duals is getting them over the axle. Everyone reccomends 2.5in tubing to go through there, which is what the stock piece is. Why cant I take two of those bends and tack them together, then wrap it in header wrap to keep the vibration rattles away, and then finish it out on either side??

    heck, you could probably scavenge from another I-pip and just buy the xpipe.

    I plan on cutting my offroad y to make it work from the lt's to the intermediate pipe/xpipe anyway.

    Has anybody tried this...???

    Someone on here or over at LS1tech bought pre-bent 2.5" pipes from Jegs or Summit and made their own true duals setup. They posted pics. If I run across it again I'll post it...
    2002 WS6 Trans Am, A4, SLP lid, P&P TB, 3500 stall, 24K GVW tranny cooler, HPTuners, Pacesetter LTs, Bassani dual exhaust with 'x' crossover, coolant bypass, sealed airbox to hood.

    i just bought a box of 2.5" manderal bends off ebay and if ups ever finds them (because they delivered it to the wrong address) im planning on running my own duals out the back with 1 chambers
