Is it hard to swap the ls1 water pump
can someone tell me the procedures on how to remove and reinstall the water pump on the ls1!!

take off the air lid, belt, hoses and remove the 6 bolts that holds it on
youll need gaskets, and fluid for the swap
and I think its 18lb ft on the bolts to reinstall
all you should need is a flat head screw driver, 15mm to take the belt off and a 10mm for the water pump bolts

u will want someone to help u hold shit in place when putting the gaskets back in place, that is a PITA
but as far as taking it off, remove 6 bolts from the front, one bolt may hit a pulley (it did on mine, a 98) dont worry about it, if its spinning free the bolt doesnt have to be all the way out. the pump will probably be stuck, so get a stick or something and pry it off. the block

for easier removal, i take off the throttle body.
Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers
