GMMG vs. borla
Hey i am considering either borla non adjustable or gmmg chambered exhaust for my '99 Z28. My car only has a slp lid right now but i will be adding headers and probably a fast intake manifold in the future and maybe more. What are your guys experiences / opinions on these exhausts. Which do you guys like better - which would sound better with the future mods?
What system gives me more power? They are both pretty close in price so that is not an issue. Thanks

all catbacks make about the same power.
i love the way my hooker sounds with the headers and cam.
also dont waste youre money on a fast manifold.
get the ls6 manifold2000 nhra edition formula

I'd go with the Borla adjustable one. It does make more power than some of the others. You can also close it up, have it quiet/stockish.

I have a borla adj. on my car and love it. It sounded so nice with my stock y and manifolds. Now with my catless y and grotys, ohhh that sweet sound

Best LS1 I've heard to date was a cammed car with GMMG. Haven't heard one even come close to that so far.

My friend has the Borla and I like it quite a bit also. Even he says he'd rather have the GMMG than the borla though. The nice thing about the adjustable Borla, is you can go from quiet to loud, and not always be loud. Even though the GMMG is loud, it sounds incredible!

Here is a video clip I made yesterday. This should give you an idea what the GMMG sounds like:
