full exhaust for 98 z28
i want to start doing mods to my ls1 and the exhaust is the first thing i wanna do
im not sure if i should keep it smog legal with shortys and a magnaflow? catback
or should i go with true duals with LT's no cats and magnaflow race mufflers?
if i go with the Lt's how would i go about with the o2 sensors and air/egr?
any help would be good thanks in advance
this problem keeps me up at night lol

Well, I have a full exhaust on my '00 Z28. Pacesetter LT's, Off road Y pipe (thats no cats just in case you didn't know that), with SLP Loudmouth the rest of the way back. So you can still keep it smog legal with also keeping cats on it while still having LT's. My pacesetter's came with all the EGR and AIR hook up's. You could go with the delete on them. But I chose to keep them on there. Of course true duels will sound different that a y pipe. Just try and find some video's of different exhaust set up's and see what sounds best to you

do you have emission in your state if so keep the air/egr, they sell LT with 02 fiting and the setup for the air/egr
i would go with LT/ y pipe (cats if needed)/ GMMG catback
if your going to be make high HP down the line them go with the true duals
just my .02 .......i live in FL. we dont have emission so i dont know that much about it

thanks for the help
i live in california and emission regulations over here are a PITA
but i have a friend who does smog checks so i dont have to worry that much about it
and what do u guys think if i just blocked off the egr system and used simulators for the 02 sensors or got a tune?
