fuel injectors
so fuel injectors should be replaced every 80-100k miles right? i ahve 104k on mine so i guess its time. what should i get, how many LBS and how much doesit cost?

No, no need to replace them unless shorted/clogged/open circuit. Especially if you have been running premium from a major gas company, they will stay clean. Any other opinions?

If you are going to replace them, just get some that are the same flow rate, or else you will need a new tune. Factory injectors should be fine, but you could go aftermarket, might be cheaper. Only get a higher flow rate if you have a setup that demands more fuel, like a power adder.

I wouldn't change them unless they are causing you a problem. You can pass a can/bottle of fuel injector cleaner from time to time if you like. I wouldn't worry with it.

On the 94 and up LT1's, it was 24. But for the LS1, I don't know. I think they were 26, but I'm not positive.

I got a 99 and I thought it was 26 but a know it all friend of mine said 19 I think he' s confused though. I called the dealer but they don't know( imagine that)why don't dealerships know anything?

Because dealerships are only concerned with seller their NEW cars, selling parts to people overpriced and then getting them to have the dealership work on them, and because dealerships don't know jack about their older vehicles.
