    Fuel Filter

Where Is The Fuel Filter On My 98 Z28 Located? And What Do I Need To Do To Replace It? Im Hoping It Is The Problem Instead Of The Fuel Pump!! The Previous Owner Never Change It.

Driver's side frame rail, about 3/4 of the way back from the front.

Just look under the driver's side, you'll see a few metal lines running back. Follow these to a cylindrical looking thing attached to the frame rail.

It's really simple to change. All you need is an open end and a flare wrench; I can't remember the sizes.

It's easy to change, as long as the car is level or the front is higher than the rear.

Will a 3rd Gen fuel filter work? I found one for the IROC that I bought before I sold it and forgot I had it.
