    Flowmaster Super 44

Anyone know anything about this muffler besides what flowmasters site says? Not much their. Just wondering if it flows "as well" as the rest of their mufflers.
Heard one on a new Mustang today, gotta tell you it sounded mean. Guy told me that was the only mod to the car.
Was going to stop by my local exhaust shop and ask about it till I saw 1/2 a dozen very large flowmaster signs posted. Don't think I'd get a very honest answer their.

Im sure it flows equally as well as any of their other mufflers, but there are certainly other mufflers out there that flow much better than a flowmaster

I'm running a set on my goat and love them.
the bad flow numbers come from their 80 series ......quieter = more restrictive.
can you get a better flowing muffler? yes, but you most likely will never notice such a small drop in flow/power with the 44's

for my full setup I have pacesetter Lt's, right off the headers I put a set of 3" bullet mufflers ($18 each through summit racing). they work like resonaters to knock down some of the drone. Then the 3" 44's are right off the back of the bulletsm and 3" duels strait out under the IRS.
I added the bullets after I ported the heads and cam swap......stock motor the 44's were great, but after the motor work they needed alittle help to keep things quiet
