Well, i have heard that the free ram air mod is bad because the air being sucked into the intake is hot. However, i only believe that to be true if the car is sitting still. I mean, if you are moving fresh cool air is going to be sucked into the air box, thats just the way it is. I personally went with the flow pack. I do not know if it is worth it over just a just the air box and the free ram air mod. But i do know that the lid is where the majority of the hp comes from in this type of mod. The lid is about 10 proven RWH. Nice choice w/ the loudmouth too; there's nothing better than a roaring F-body.

The lid and filter are great but i have heard stories of problems with the bellows. I would look into another cai also. A lid, filter, and FTRA would cost about the same as the flowpac and you can make the bellows.

I did the Lid and FRA(Free Ram Air) and a Loudmouth...before the mods ran a 13.9 at best and after I was at 13.61 with just the two mods.

flowpack is almost $300. I would just go with FRA, K&N, and a lid Thats $150 and about the same power gain.
