Fast Intake Mani Swap
Well i finally gathered all my parts and figured i would share....no nothing is installed yet been feeling lazy
Got a Fast 92mm I/M (i smoothed and painted)
92mm Tb
Coolant crossover and rear block offs
LS6 Valley Cover
Gm hose for V/C to Intake Manifold
Been debating on going ahead and getting knock sensors and harness. Nothing is wrong with mine but if im in there why not
Also debating on weather to just wait until i get injectors and a new Fuel pump assembly. On that note what is the general consensus on Racetronix 255 w Hotwire kit

Is your car a 98? If yes you need to read this thread.

Racetronix WH - I've installed it on mine, can't tell you yet how good it is except it was easy to install. My motor blew up and in the middle of a build.
KS & WH - do it, switch over to the 99< because they have stop making >98 KS. I'm not saying you can't find any, just know that GM uses/recommends the 99<.
BTW intake looks real good.

The tread was to show you that you will need to notch the block in order to make the LS6 vct to fit properly.
how long it took?

yea ive done all the research as far as notching the block and whatnot i plan to use a hack saw...not as fast as a dremel but less mess also.
I think ive got about 6 hours total in sand prime sand prime wet sand then painting and also smoothing the light port job the previous owner did.

I used a dremel and prep the area like I was performing surgery. Had a buddy hold a shop vac to suck up as I made my cuts. Cover everything that wasn't to be cut with rags/trash bags and taped it all down.
As long as your anally careful you should be ok.
