Hmmmm.. you will need different valley cover bolts. Silicon the MAP sensor in or make a raised washer to hold the sensor in. The FAST does NOT have a "clip" to hold the sensor in place. Really just relies on it staying seated. I reused my intake gaskets. Worked fine.
Be careful taking your LS1/:S6 intake out... Dont screw your oil pressure sensor up...
Make some small tube for the 4-5 bolts on the back of the intake when you install the FAST. They need to be held up. You will never get the bolts in if you do not have them installed an inch or so into the intake before sliding it under the firewall. I personally just wrapped a piece of masking tape around the bolts after I had them in the intake holes. There are many was to hold the bolts up, it will have to be done though.
Take your time.
Dont drop anything into your head. I did.... I dropped a washer onto the top of the intake valve. I happened to check before installing and by the grace of the LS1 god... found the washer sitting on top of my valve. I almost killed it! Dont do like I did. Take your time.Last edited by Hi-Po; 02-04-2009 at 02:47 PM.

FAST sells them, I bought them off them. But then they decided to never ship them to me. Good times.
They dont cost nothing, just call FAST and ask them for the valley cover bolts for your FAST to sit right.
Also, many.many parts stores will have them. They(FAST) will give you the bolt dimensions. I got them. I think they will give you a allan head bolt, I work for Caterpillar... so I bouth some from them, seeing how they have abouta a million bolts in stock.
Well, Caterpillar bolts, to FAST dimension were even higher. I ended up just grinding down my bolt heads to make it sit right. It worked, not the prettiest. But I had to have my TA back on the road.

Take ur time, and do not i repeat DO NOT break your oil sending unit. Actually its not a big deal if u do. Most of the people who swap intakes break it their first time around.

Haha, I was 17 when I did it, the FAST was one of my first mods I had next to no experience and I didn't snap the sender.
Oh, and when you put in the bolts use tape to hold them in when you place the manifold over the motor. The bolts won't clear the cowl, you actually have to put the bolts into the intake before putting the intake into position, but hold the bolts high enough that they clear the motor on the bottom. Pain in the ass right? You're going to hate the cowl by the time your done.
That's cute

My 90 doesn't, I don't know about the 92. Really the TB is so big it shouldn't really need a hole since there will be so much air flowing in from around the edges.
