your to the point now where your ls6 intake is holding you back. to be conservitive I'll say the fast intake/tb will give you atleast 10 hp or more

I would say about 20-25hp, just because he has ported heads and a respectable cam...

my cam should be here any day now and porting the hell out of my heads during the cam swap. I'm hoping by the time my bank account recovers the new edelbrock intake will be out. half the price of the fast and out performs it......just don't know if or when it will make it on the market

Thanks for the input guys. I think that it will be worth the money. I also need to upgrade my cat back since I'm still running the crappy stock setup. Those two together should me enough to hold me over for now!

On that note, what cat back system would you guys suggest? I really like the sound of the GMMG. But I haven't heard anything numbers wise about them. Thanks again.

If you have the cash, the FAST will net you some HP at this point.

For a Cat back, If I remember correctly... the GMMG is pretty expensive. It does sound great though. I would go with a magnaflow. But I really love the sound of my Spin Tech.

I'm very skeptical that the Edelbrock outflow's the FAST. Like in the thread they used a weak combo to test and, from what I have heard, falls flat like the LS6 around 6,300 rpm's. It is a good intake for small to medium cams, but if your looking to run a large cam, the money's on the FAST. There's a reason it's more expensive than the others.

even though they make a popoff valve for the fast its still plastic. I think the edelbrock will really shine under big nitrous shots and boost.....i can't wait to see it come out and have real independant testing....we all know its easy to make your parts look like they perform better when you do the testing yourself

15 -20 easily with your mods, your cam setup is gonna breathe a ton better, esp if you port match it to the heads....

4" rubber pvc connector from home depot works perfectly...ditch the MAF and run a speed density tune
