exhaust sound question
Ok this is what i want. Right now no headers ok, and I want to keep the muffler no matter what. How would this sound, stock manifolds, MAC ory pipe, and a 80 series flowmaster muffler? worried about the sound right now not power.

What sound you like, and what sound I like might be totally different. Adding LTs later will change it too. Best to listen to the setup you want in person - maybe www.ls1sounds.com will give you some ideas.

i really would just like to know if it would still have the flowmaster sound? Also if it would be raspy?

Hooker Aerochamber
Flowmasters have always had a good sound to me but have been reading lately they have restrictive flow problems. I opted for the Hooker Aerochamber and love it. Anything but raspy, slightly louder than stock at idle and has a nice growl WOT.

If you're ever going to be worried about power, than you might want to look elsewhere...Flowmaster will probably sound good due to the chambered muffler design, but that same design isn't the best for flow.

when i got my exhaust, i got the flowmaster 40 series, i love it, plus after i had the guy installed it, i was asking him some questions about the different "series" flowmaster has, and he said the 40 series is the most aggressive sounding model, more "muscle" car sound is what he said.....just my .02 but then i agian i have a "lil" ole 99 v6 camaro, but i love the way it sounds on mine

If you aren't worried about the $$$, BORLA is the baddest sounding thing around...sounds like a F1 car when you wind her up and not obnoxious when drivin mellow. Awesome!
