Exhaust Questions For headers and Y pipe

I plan to install Pacesetter LT's with a matching Y pipe.from pacesetter. I have hooker cat back. I am not going to run cats. What should I do about the smog pump lines on the stock manifold. What should I do about tuning it? I hear that the check engine light will come on If I do all of this. Do I need to buy a tuner. Can a dyno shop that tunes LS1s take care of this. Whats the deal with the smog lines on the manifold. The headers come with those but I can plug it up or weld it. But what do I do with the line it comes from. Please Im a beginer when It comes to smog lines/pumps/and that computer shit.

lol thats allways an option, just run a search and you will find all the info you need bud. I personaly kept my lines but got rid of my cats. If you instail lt and ory then you will loose your rear two sensors. you have two options from here, either get it tuned or buy some 02 sims. Words of wisdom thou dont use the paper gaskets with your instail, get stock ones or try and reuse old ones depending on condition. Purchase some 02 harness extensions for the two sensors you will be using. Dont be surprised if your 02 sensors go out after a little bit of driving. if you do throw a code after driving it for a lil bit just put the two sensors from the rear upfront. "the ceramic coating tends to clog the sensors and then u get a lazy 02"
The headers you order should come with block off plates if not i would goto local exhaust shop and have them weld one up for ya
