exhaust question.....
Was wondering if you guys can help me with this exhaust question. I have Magna flow on my car right now but want to get it louder, but at the same time I don't wanna lose performance. From what I hear loudmouth tends to take some of that away. I don't have any headers yet or anything so im just wondering what exhaust to go with until I get my headers??????

just keep the magnaflow. i have ordered the loudmouth, with headers, cause i like it loud. but for performance, keep the magnaflow untill you get your headers. cat backs dont really give you much more hp. maybe 2 or 3 hp. just save your money and get headers. that will also make it louder, and a cam will open that up even better.

I agree with Y2K...Wait until you get some headers before you mess with it.
The catback/muffler isnt going to change much from brand to brand as far as HP numbers...The size of the pipe/s is what matters. Go for the sound you like. Personally I like the sound of Flowmaster.94 m6 Formula - Sold

Save your money and buy some good headers.
Not SLP.

Keep the Magnaflow.
With headers, it is one of the best sounding catbacks in my opinion. Fairly tame unless you get on it, smooth sound.

Is money an issue??
If so, Pacesetter.
If not, Kooks.

yea, its an issue. Is there that much of a difference?? I figured it would be the same performance and sound as any other??

There both great headers. I have kooks on mine, they sound great, and look great. If money is fairly tight, Ide buy pacesetters, you wont feel a HP difference between the two.

Performance and sound aren't what you are spending the money on.
Most headers (aside from SLP's piles of crap) will sound similiar and have the gains.
Quality is quite a bit better on the Kooks. Better stainless.
