Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
The Loudmouth with stock manifolds and cats still in tact sounds good and isn't overly loud.
If you ever plan to have long tubes, off-road y-pipe(ORY) and the Loudmouth as your catback, its ridiculously loud, and you will attract unwanted attention from law enforcement.

haha y2k pewterss is right. when mine had just the loudmouth it wasnt too bad but now it has pacesetter lt's and ORY pipe and its pretty loud. putting around its not bad but 1/4 throttle or more it gets loud. but i love it! nothing like rolling up to a light at an idle and catching someone off guard with a little rev.

Well I took the plung!!! LOL I couldnt resist for the price. $377.00 shipped at New Era Performance Parts. Alot cheaper then anywhere I saw plus free shipping + they are sponsers of LS1.com I think I am going to be happy. I plan on headers/y pipe next and if its too loud I will just buy a Borla muffler to replace the SLP bullet deal I guess. Thanks for your input guys!!!

Bright Rally Red- 1996 Camaro SS
I think you made a good choice. It will be fun while you still have the mani's and cats. Also it is constructed pretty well and all stainless.

i had the LM when i was running my stocks maniifolds and cats. now im running LTs/ORY and its the sweetest sound. its the sound i was wanting and is crazy off the wall loud at WOT. i scare the innocent and have had tons of people compliment of how good and how loud my car sounds. for most its a love/hate. i dont plan on changing mine for anything...

What tips did yall go with?? I had a hard time deciding on the dual 2.5" or the slash cut 3". I went with the slash cut 3" but I really liked the dual 2.5 as well. Tough one.

you can always buy the resonator and have a custom cat-back made with whichever tips you'd like?

I have custom 3" tips that go all the way back to the muffler. I like how you can't see any welds.

I kinda like these tips that look similar to stock but are stainless but I will prolly just put the 3" on and be done

i have to say i like the slashers more over reg. dual tips. i see dual tips on to many other cars
procharged,twin intercoolers,added fuel pump,larger injectors,kooks LTH+cats,slp loud mouth,strano springs/ koni shocks,ultraZ hood, spec stage 3+ clutch with flywheel, 130 LBS of weight reduction, swaybars, strut tower brace,3pt, sfc"yeah that's right"

18D Cock Diesel- 1999 Z28; 98 SS #2043 RIP
I love the sound but I can't hear my radio unless I really, really turn it up and even then its not that great. I think I will just remove it and put a delete plate instead. I love the sound of the exhaust anyway! I have headers, Z06 heads and cam, LS6 intake, lid, etc...etc...It sounds AWESOME!
I get a lot of compliments about the way it sounds. When I pull up next to guys in imports or mustangs, they always turn their heads to the other side so as not to make eye contact. Its kinda funny.

I have the LM1 on my 00 Z/28, and will be ditching it as quickly as possible. First off, the comment about attracting law enforcement is 100% true. I pulled out of a parking lot, wound out first and second a bit, never broke about 40 mph in a 40, and got lit up. Second, I come from the older car background, and I want my Camaro to sound like my solid roller big block. To me, the LM1 sounds like a "boat" (no offense meant, just MHO).
I plan on doing some mods to my car in the next few week (headers, cam, maybe heads, and new exhaust) and plan on going with the Magnaflow system. Sounds like a motor should sound, IMO.

Thats cool man I wanted Honest opinions chris and thats what u gave and I have heard that many times. I think I went for it and bought mine mainly for the price and free shipping + I heard it on ls1 sounds.
Does any one have a picture of the exhaust under their car because the instructions I got have no pics. Also I looked in the bullet muffler and there was nothing inside is that right??? That seems weird to me.

I must say SLP LM2 sounds really good. i like it because you can creep when you need to and rev up and be loud when you want to. i have the LM2 and i like it for only 400 bucks its the best you can get! my boy got borla on his and to tell the truth it doesnt sound all that great to me and he spent 900 on it and people still like mine better. i might get the LM1 shotgun and be louder with it.

Pewter- 2000 Camaro SS
I have my LM1 and i love it, at start up it sounds so nasty, idle is nasty and WOT is extremely nasty. Only problem is alot of drone around 60-70 so you better have some decent speakers. If you have a bad headache, dont plan on a long summer drive.

Red- '02 Camaro SS
I'd like to know, has anyone just changed the muffler on an SLP DD set up? I want a little more flow and better sound, but dont see the need to spend $900 on Borla for pipes and shit when it"s the muffler that I need. I have LT's and 3" Y, and 3" to the muffler, but that Dual Dual seems to not let me enjoy header sound and flow.
